This weekend I spent trying my best to prepare the guest room for my mom's arrival and the arrival of bambino. I have sooo much crap to recycle, donate, throw away and make room for. David came over to take the measurements for the bespoke wardrobe system. Romy moved the boxes from the guest room to the dining room, so that i can more easily go through them and so that david could actually get the measurements. it's still hard to imagine us all fitting in here, but we'll manage.
Annie brought her moses basket over, so i'll have that in my room with me until i go back to work after the baby's born. then we'll have to see... there are lots of theories about the family bed and all that. since i don't have a parnter i think it's less of an issue for me. the place looks overwhelingly chaotic at the moment. it's driving me mad. i got annie's son to smile a lot today. that was fun.
had loads of sweet cravings today and lots of discomfort. felt like my muscles were contracting. maybe they were braxton hicks, i don't know. it only felt comfortable when i sat leaning back with my back and belly propped up like a prorper pregnant lady. the kitties were adorable today and kept crawling into my arms so that i would carry them around the flat with me while i was cleanig which certainly impeded my progress. i adore them completely, but i'm not feeding them since the neighbour got upset with me.
watched clerks 2. not as good as the first one...

Hot Momma!
Latest Anglo-American Alliance Gift of Unity
Rach & Ed, a lovely english/american couple have brought beautiful Daphney into this world. I am proud that Rach gave birth in a NHS hospital, becasue she's one of the few people who's snootier than me when it comes to British healthcare. If she can do it, so can I! Thanks, Rach for giving me confidence! It's amazing how much their little gift looks like his side of the family. Either way, this baby was going to be beautiful, but it reminds me that some one told me that the baby always looks like the father immediately after delivery for s short while then takes some times takes on a different appearance later. I suppose this is nature's way of ensuring the dad sticks around. I wonder if this is actually true?
